Questions
Why they matter
Well child visits are a cornerstone of preventative medicine, helping prevent illnesses and promoting overall health and well-being. These visits are crucial for identifying potential health issues early, ensuring children are up to date on vaccinations, and providing guidance on healthy habits. Regular visits establish a strong, trusting relationship between the child, parents, and pediatrician, which is essential for optimal care.
Scheduling
Your child should have a well child visit at the intervals listed in the age-stage schedule. We recommend that you call our office three months in advance to schedule an appointment with your child's primary care provider on the date that best fits your needs.
Best practice is to schedule your child's next well visit whenever you are in the office, in order to stay on schedule with your child's health and progress.
A note on vaccines
