Call us first
Fevers, ear pain, vomiting, rashes, coughs, minor injuries, medication questions, and anything you would normally bring to a visit. The nurse can advise, and reach the on-call physician if needed.
Urgent care
Only when we have advised it, or when you need stitches, a splint, or an x-ray outside our hours. Bring the visit notes to us afterwards so the record stays in one place.
Emergency room
Trouble breathing, a seizure, unresponsiveness, a head injury with vomiting, uncontrolled bleeding, or any fever in an infant under eight weeks. Call 911.

· Vomiting once or twice, still keeping fluids down

· Laboured or rapid breathing, or pauses in breathing
· A seizure, or unusual limpness or unresponsiveness

· Dehydration — no wet nappy in eight hours, no tears
